Back to our latest project that we where talking about in the beginning of our blog. Our next design move-we are going to beadboard edged with molding.
How might you know what height to make it. Say a window in the room starts at 35" above the floor. So, you wouldn't want it to end right below it because that would shrink the height of the room. A little bit above the start of the window would be perfect or you could always go up a little bit further too. But never go half way up the wall. It does not look good....
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call or comment below. We will answer any questions to the best of our ability.
Suzanne and I have decided that 40" would be perfect in this room. The average height of a changing table/dresser is 34". So, our beadboard would be seen above the dresser, peaking out. Perfecto!
What an impact beadboard will add to this beach cottage nursery! The look is so fresh, classic and clean.
Estimated construction cost of beadboard, with trim, without it being painted: $828 for a room that is 130 sq ft. Remember, that's this does not include it being painted.
